Logging in by email

There are a few different ways to login to LeapIN - using your e-Residency ID-card, using Smart-ID, and the standard email login. If you want to login to LeapIN using your email, follow these steps:

  • Go to our login page and choose the first option 'Email'

  • You’ll be asked for your personal email address that you used when you signed up

  • We’ll send you a verification email that contains a special login link

  • Clicking on that link will open a new browser tab/window and log you in

If you’ve used a 'Forgot password' feature elsewhere online, it's similar to that, except with no complicated password involved.

We’ve made our email-based login process as secure and simple as possible. Passwords are hard to remember or easy to guess, and everyone reuses them. Email authentication is a more secure option, because it eliminates the possibility of someone cracking your password and gaining access to your account.

With LeapIN email authentication:

  • The login link expires after 15 minutes

  • The login link can only be used once

However, please note that if someone has gained access to your email account, they will be able to access to your LeapIN account.
